kindle unlimited como funciona
I go to the bookstore to find books I want to read and then just buy them or read them on KU later haha. I find that experience way more enjoyable than book shopping online. It's way easier to read the synopsis and then make a list for later!
I also like choices. I am looking at a paperwhite for the benefit of the environment. That is a lot of pink books. Get a new book scent candle. thanks for the review
Hubby and I got our first Kindle when they first came out in 2007. Most of the Kindle books I buy are the deals, less than $3 each. We have about 3000 Kindle books in total. Hubby and I each have our own Paperwhites now. Here in the US, Kindle Unlimited is $11.99/month and you can check out up to 20 KU books at one time!! We have a family Kindle account, so all our grown daughters have Paperwhites too, and I manage the account and everyone can always find books they want to read on our account.
You should read the hopeless series by Colleen Hoover I loved it.
What kind of iPhone case do you have?

Dude, what's with the brows?
LOOOOOVE! OMG I am SO torn between kindle and physical books – I read both + I am a member of the library which is of course free. But I am torn between buying and keeping physical books VS kindle. I LOVE the aesthetics of a book shelf, even if it's only small, especially when you have a collection of the same print e.g. collins classics / penguin + you have the sentimental value of the physical book and the fact that, people are more inclined to ask what book you're reading when it's physical or they're in your home scoping your shelves, so it's nice to have that connection that I don't think you get otherwise reading a kindle. But like you say, with kindle, books are SO MUCH CHEAPER! Often a ridiculous difference, one book I looked up earlier from my reading list was Β£0.07 on kindle (and of course going to library would be free) and then I think, well the money I save not buying the books, can be spent on more books! How to decide!? PLUS like you say, it's so neat and tidy that it can fit in your bag or hand, and I can imagine living in London with the tubes kindle is so handy! So many benefits to both! π X
I have been a voracious reader my entire life, but when I was severely disabled while in the ARMY 30 years ago, it really stepped up even more. I average 3-5 books a week. several times a year, I have to go to the VA hospital 300 miles away from home, for anywhere from 2 to 12 nights per trip. and I would have to carry a stack of books with me for these trips. in '09, I was gifted my first kindle. I was resistant to the idea, because I very much enjoy the tactile sensations of a paper book. the first trip to San Francisco VAMC after getting the kindle really changed my mind. it was a 10 night stay, and I was able to just take the kindle, and 1 paperback ( as a back up, ) for the trip. I still love paper books, especially older, hard bound editions. but I do not go a full day with out picking up my kindle for several hours, even when I have a paper book in progress. *( I do tend to have more than one going at a time) I have what you might consider a "boring" black cover, but it does the job of protecting the screen. when I am traveling, I also have an inexpensive version of an otter box that really protects it. I also have a 33800 mAh batter brick I carry to recharge it when it needs it. the brick is also good for my phone, and MP3. my latest Kindle is the newest edition of the paperwhite, and I very much like everything about it. the page turning is smooth, and very quick, the warmer light is great for reading in the dark. I keep it on dark mode all the time as the glaring white page is harsher for my eyes. and between Kindle prime and the several e-mail book weekly deals I get (Book Barbarian, Book Cave, good reads, early bird books, and about 5 more) save me hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, with out having to roll my powerchair through used books stores all over the county every week. the more restrictive my health becomes, the more I will rely on my kindle, and the ease of having a whole library in the side bag of my wheelchair at all times.
The reason I bought the Scribe is because of physical size and recently getting into manga. I actually ran out of space on my Signature because manga book files are so much larger than plain text books.
Unfortunately, I would argue that just because a book is popular, doesnβt necessarily make it good either. But then itβs all subjective. I got the Kindle signature on launch day and a kindle scribe a few weeks after launch. I donβt believe Iβve had a kindle for more than 5 years due to loving the whole upgrade thing π Some people do find that they read more having purchased the kindle, so if you read one book a month it could be worth getting one as you may increase you reading.
Iβve had a Kindle ever since they came out in 2007! I have the Paperwhite Signature now and LOVE IT! BTW, although the device itself has about 5-7 year lifespan, the books you purchased are in the Kindle Cloud and are still available forever. So when you purchase a new Kindle to replace an old Kindle, all your books are still available. You donβt lose any of your old purchases just because your old Kindle wears out.
i just want kindle so bad, but i cant afford it π
Love your accent !! subbed. Greetings from PerΓΊ
If I'd be i n a boat or near big water stuff near me. I'd have it inside a zip bag? tied it up to my wrist with something. xDD. Problem solved, even if it'd be waterproof. I'm not gonna jump out of the boat to dive into the sea to catch it lmao. But honestly, those plastic bags do wonders.
I sleep with my kindle beside me. That-s how much I love it xD. I'm still using it since I got my paperwhite back then in 2017. It has fallen off so many tiemes I can't even count. Carry it with my in my back pocket jean, anywhere. Do not use it with a cover case. I let it live up its hero stories. Honestly, I do love this device. Durability 100/10. Battery life since then is still great for me. There are days in which I do read more and other weeks in which I do not. Yet battery is always there to get you covered for some decent hour of reading
(Yes, I got the filghiest, kinkiest books as well and nobody knows about it π xDDD )
I really want a kindle but canβt afford it so I just watch these vids π
