Dear Halo fans,
I am an outsider, I loved Halo 1 PC game but have not a clue about all that came after. I just wanted to ask, is it just my mind filling in lore or is there something, terribly tragic about the Master Chiefs character. Always just seemed a sadness to it, as if much was given up for what was needed of him.
I swear the writers never played or watched anyone play the game. It almost like they just read the wiki and where like "that's all we need to know"
One day it’ll get a proper reboot and better service that’s more faithful to the lore

I just watched season 1 and I love it, i cant wait to see season 2, one of the best shows
I mean… Why would an alien civilization be that aggressive? They would have to have some kind of revenge or have been attacked by weapons, by some other individuals who use weapons. Weapons seems to be the issue as always.. the invention if tools. And it's a coward way, the push of a button. Evolution would be fist fights.. But sure some species would have teeth and be bigger like dinosaurs or whatever. But then it's an evolutionary trait, if it's natural evolution that is. Hmm… When i think about it i don't know how dinosaurs evolved those traits. Hmm… Ok then it might come down to some philosophic thinking or the most optimal environments for peace, and prosperity. So you could almost say it comes down to some biological thinking patterns and try to spread that across solar systems, and no weapons then. Like meditation and advanced medical care and healing and long lives and having fun instead. So better systems and environments probably. It would be so chill without weapons, and if it was a better mentality then. This is science fiction, but i can't see why some species would be that aggressive towards planets, of they had not been attacked by weapons in the first place. So weapons just created more unnecessary violence. Cant disturb a natural peaceful habitat… I was thinking that planet shields would work. But like.. It's prickles and goo. Infinite probably. I'm thinking the invention of tools or something… Probably started there. But it's also the intention, like medical science and stuff, focus on the good. A few beers and i almost sound like a philosopher. 😉 Also.Self defense would be needed, but i don't see why a species would do that to another planet. Peaceful planets don't even need defenses probably. I don't have the "bird eye" perspective there. Probably not..
This series is really good if you ask me. Not perfect… but then again if you expect perfection, you will be disappointed every time. All I hear is a bunch of ultra geeks crying over minor details. If you want the exact Halo storyline scene for scene the go back and replay the games. I truly find this series entertaining and worth every minute I have spent watching so far.
I hope so much that this series will be continued and run at least as long as Stargate SG1.
I love this tv adaptation. It perfectly incapsulates tge face of america. But when it comes to villains , why do all of them seem to have a lack of melanin or mongoloid features? Is there a conspiracy?

Way to F### up a great story by putting your spin on it. I want to really get into this new series, but this is NOT Halo. Did you even read the novels? I don’t care what some no-name writes. You should’ve hired Eric Nylund to write your story. As usual though, ego got in the way. Maybe some future adaptation will get it right.
If you’re not a gamer with preconceived notions and opinions.. and you want an awesome sci-fi – then this is an awesome sci-fi ❤ – if you’re a gamer who is overly attached to the franchise and you have no other reason for living – but gaming – don’t watch this series.
Changing Cortana's appearance for season 2 is the worst mistake this series could've done – I stopped watching!
If you are a halo fan don't watch this season this is not Halo I don't know what they are doing but holy this is soo bad they have no armor on the fall of Reach they even leave Reach and the next 3 days when Reach is falling we dont get to see anything and they just left to another planet?????? na that was the last straw I have given this season so many attempts to fix all the problems with season 1,2 and they somehow just keep making it even worse how??? and they don't listen to anything the fans are telling them…. DONT WATCH 0 out of 10 story
I have a strange story when it comes to halo, I was born in 2005 but was very limited when it came to gaming during my childhood, so Halo wasn’t one of those games I was able to play. I’m 19 now and just now walking through the campaigns and currently on Halo 2, LOVE the series so far, but knowing this tv show isn’t meeting up to expectations is disappointing.

I can see why just any tall actors are not necessarily gonna be great cast choices. The guy for master chief sucks.
In my own invidual perception and once long player of this game it's without doubt a wonderfull series at best representation of the game even with adding story's.
Only downside I encountered was changing Cortana. Even do I know the game had many changes to that.
But my compliments for those who created these series. En I'll hope to see more and more.

My best friend who died one year ago, was the biggest halo fan. After the trailer i was sceptical, will they do it right ? Now i watched the first episode, and im comming to the conclusion that he would be proud . Good job to all the actors and Paramount.
