O funcionamento do Kindle Unlimited é simples e intuitivo.
Vale a Pena Investir no Kindle Unlimited?

Can you buy books at the bookstore and have them mail them to you? Kindle plus books. Best of both worlds.
Goodness the more I watch your videos the more I am convinced we are long lost twins. I too lug many physical books because I need options. You are one step ahead of me with the Kindle – I have one but never use it. I hope your plan works out well! P.S. I live about 5 miles from Kramers- it really is an irresistible bookstore!
Traveling in Europe now (California is home) and I only have my kindle and audiobooks. Now I did buys a couple books in London to take home
Dolores Umbridge…I LOVE IT!!!
I always say I'm only going to bring my e-readers (yes, plural) when I travel, but I can't seem to take a trip without at least one physical book!
Even though I prefer physical books, I love the Kindle for how portable it is and how easy it is to prop a Kindle up and get some quick reading in while doing something else (like cooking). I would share your dilemma about books and traveling (I don’t travel anymore due to issues related to chronic illnesses); I would probably bring the kindle, 1 physical book (in case my kindle acts up), and leave a little room to pick up more books. 😊
I have entirely too many books on my Kindle but when we travel from NC to CT, which we do at least 4/5 times a year, I take way too many books with me. It’s a real thing!
I am going away for a few days on a road trip, just bringing my tablet, that has Kindle reads
and computer games on it and Netflick on it. I am not driving, so need to entertain myself, only can talk so much. I am reading the Liar by Nora Roberts on my kindle, an author I
have not read in so long. I have a few Diane Chamberlain books on there. I don't have many Kindle books on there, but can use Libby from my library and borrow a book, if I want.
I need to actually get a Kindle for anywhere, than having a tablet all the time. I need Kindle reads now, since paperback books prints are small for me now.
When I bring physical books with me on trips, I like to leave them in a little free library or in a Airbnb so I don't have to lug them home 😊
Ooh diamond eye is really good be patient..If there is Wi-Fi go with kindle. Take one book for just incase .
I am disabled and the Kindle has changed my life. I’ve traveled with just a Kindle for many years. I can never resist “Politics and Prose.” The last time I was there I had lunch and bought only a t-shirt.
I always bring just my Kindle. It goes in my purse or day bag, takes up almost no room and I have so many books on it I never get bored. Have a wonderful trip!
I hear you on problems #1 and #2 😂. I have a trip this week first to a cabin in Maine and then from there to a conference in Kansas. I have 2 books packed (one is HUGE) plus my Kindle. I felt like I needed a spooky book for Maine and a women’s empowerment book for my conference. And knowing me, I’ll buy books while I’m on this trip. I’ll report back! 😅
You can do it!
I always overpack books! I worked for ACS for 4-ish years right out of college. I hope your advocacy goes well. DC is definitely one of my favorite US cities. Last time I was there we stayed in Dupont Circle and there's a book store there that I loved. Can't remember the name. I'm trying to get more used to reading ebooks. I used to never listen to audiobooks, and now I listen to them all the time. I think traveling with a Kindle would be ideal if I could get used to it!
I could have done this exact video. I have some travel coming up and promised myself I'd only take my Kindle – we'll see if I stick to that. I'll also be going to a place where there's a Goodwill that's only a bookstore, so I'd like to leave a little room in my bag to bring home a few new-to-me books. I don't do Kindle Unlimited, but I have a ton of ebooks, including NetGalley books that I need to catch up on. I'm so ridiculous-I act like I'll need 732 books to read in the five days I'll be gone lol. Hope all is well at your house after the hurricane. I love that your Kindle has a name! I need to do that!
Love that you are saying this outloud! I struggled with this when I first used the Kindle(about 15 years ago). The turning point for me was on a trip where I only took physical books. I was waiting on my flight home in the airport and finished the last book I had. Ok, I'll just go to one of the bookstores and buy a book for the flight….but they were all closed!!! It was then I realized if I had my Kindle I would have had a book for the flight home. A real wake up call for me. I am now never without my Kindle but I will take a physical book with me because I still prefer a physical book.
I could travel with just a kindle, and I’m pretty sure I’d be bringing books home with me. I have a hard time reading on a plane, it’s an attention issue for me as I am not a comfortable flyer, so I do better with magazines on the plane. A DC vlog would be great!
When I have been on an airplane ✈️ I have always brought physical books with me. When I went on the Carnival Cruise ship I brought lots of physical books. The Carnival Cruise ship’s library did not have many books in it. When I have gone on car trips I have brought physical books with me.
