biblia

**Atendendo a Diferentes Públicos:**

A diversidade não se limita apenas às versões da Bíblia, mas também aos públicos que elas atendem. A Bíblia Infantil, com suas ilustrações coloridas e linguagem simples, cativa os corações das crianças desde tenra idade, introduzindo-as aos ensinamentos sagrados de uma maneira acessível e envolvente. Enquanto isso, a Bíblia Feminina oferece reflexões e estudos voltados especificamente para as necessidades espirituais das mulheres, abordando temas relevantes para suas vidas.

**Explorando a Bíblia Online:**

  1. Hello Paul Chappell!!! I hope that this communication finds you well… With all due respect and reverence, of which you, as another unique and individual human being, do indeed deserve, I would like to ask you a question, a question that I hope you will give all due and prayerful consideration… Why would the founders of protestant sects, who only rely on the KJV of the Bible, rely on the KJV of the Bible??? The founders of the protestant sects relying only on the KJV of the Bible are the same people who, having felt that they, indeed, were being so ruthlessly oppressed by the British, to the extreme point that they were willing to engage in all-out-war with the british to regain and establish their freedom and deserved liberty… Why then, would they, the oppressed, having fought hard to regain their independence , venerate and make holy and absolutely sacred the KJV of the Bible, the same version that King James himself commissioned a group of several individuals to create? The KJV of the Bible is the product of only a small amount of information from a small amount of the many many many scrolls available… Why would the oppressed make sacred the version of the Bible given to them by the British, the one's they felt were oppressing them, as the only valid and accurate source of knowledge and information, from which to live and seek spiritual comfort and salvation… I understand that you, like every other human being, are only seeking answers to this beautiful mystery we are living in… The mystery of life… I appeal to your intelligence, with the exclusion of your education…due to the fact that education and intelligence are not at all anything synonymous with one another… An educated person may be completely void of any valuable knowledge and experience that would really amount to what the Greeks referred to as Sophia (wisdom) she is lovely, indeed, even as Solomon describes her to be… An uneducated person may, Also be full of knowledge and actual experience that would truly amount to Sophia (Wisdom❤) I do hope that, upon this comment coming into your awareness, you have up to that point had an enjoyable experience of Love, Compassion, and Kindness, while going about your day… If you would care to further engage in discussion on this topic, I feel completely willing to do so with you….

  2. The KJV, which was revised in the late 1800s, is beautifully written (by a committee), but it's not the most accurate translation. It's just one of hundreds of translations in hundreds of languages.

  3. you persist in using this inaccurate version with 400 years out of date language because you are stubborn and ignorant and because YOUR GOD IS TOO SMALL – you think that the only way He can preserve accuracy is through a particular [NOT THE ORIGINAL] translation into English – that is also HUGELY ARROGANT, but sadly TYPICALLY AMERICAN!

  4. I haven't listened to this sermon yet, but this is one of the reasons why I don't go to church anymore. Nobody uses the King James Version, and the Church is watered down enough as it is without using it, but since most churches want to use another "version", I don't go. Also, today's songs are so "weird". They lack the Word of God in them.

  5. Why is it you talk about why we "use" the King James?
is that all there is to it?
don't you believe God inspired his word and then preserved his word?
is it King James that's the best one?
    out there?
and that's why you use it?
or is it the pure word of God?

are you in submission to the word of God ?

or is the word of God in submission to you?
    you guys are clowns.
    "
    why we use something"!
how about stating why we believe it is a word of God?

  6. This man is one of the nicest preachers I've ever met. For 6 years I heard him weekly in chapel when I attended his school in Michigan. I went with him on college trips and talked with him and although I did not attend his church, he was kind. I didn't always agree with his conclusions, particularly like this one about the KJV, which I greatly admire as a classic, I think Rick Flanders is a good man. I also greatly respect Tyndale, and his contribution to the AV (KJV). However, the Jack Hyles heresy that the 1611 version is somehow more inspired than much earlier Greek copies is false gospel. It is important to call out heresy where we see it, and the idolatry of putting an English translation, which I love, on the very same level as the earliest Greek copies is just wrong. We can love the KJV, but it is not right to say it is the only version. Some of it is opaque. I have studied it all my life, along with Shakespeare, and I still have trouble understanding several passages that are so archaic. I learned Greek and I do not claim to be a scholar, but I've read the Bible in KJV and Greek and honestly the KJV is harder to understand in some places than the Greek is! But I do love and respect this man, and he is honest.

  7. I like the KJV. I read the KJV and prefer it as my primary version. However, the point he makes at time stamp 43:22 is folly. The speaker makes the point that those who actually spoke or wrote the inspired word of God, or those who were reading original texts from those words would not pause to state that they do not know what a certain word meant or that they would reference other biblical texts to explain words or phrases. Of course they would not do that because the languages used in those texts were not dead or entirely lost as they are today. Any Biblical scholar worth his salt who has ever studied biblical texts knows that there are words we have to be careful with because we do not fully know their meaning, or that there are multiple meanings for them. The word love for instance. We do not see many translations, including the KJV, that accurately relay the meaning of the word love. It is only by going back and translating ancient texts that we realize how many versions of love there are and that they have each have a different meaning. This is a classic misrepresentation of KJ onlyism. Again, I don’t speak against the KJV, but there is more to what this man says than he leads you to believe.

  8. This pastor's teaching is off center and I'm being kind. God promised to preserve His Word (OT Hebrew) also written in Greek – NOT the English language! Pastor's limited understanding and personal views express arrogance. Check out "thou shalt not kill" in Exodus 20 with Jesus saying concerning that commandment "thou shalt not murder" in Gospel of Matthew which is only one of many incorrect word translations in the KJV.

  9. From my experience from attending various Baptist churches, who are committed to the scriptures, are steeped in legalism. Cause more confusion and committed more to traditions rather honestly addressing the real issues.

  10. The question you raised concerning various Bible versions is a very complex issue that cannot be adequately discussed in a letter. Often times it is filled with more emotion and heat than it is knowledge and light. Let me share with you my own conclusions after studying these issues. Bible versions, such as the New International Version and the New American Standard Bible, have been translated by godly men of demonstrated academic repute from the very best manuscript evidence that is available today. May I add, the manuscript evidence that is now available is far superior to that which was available to the King James Version's translators in 1611.

All of these “modern” versions have taken out the very word of God. They are all corrupted. The enemy has enticed men to change God’s Word for greedy gain and vanity. America has done this. The corruption and confusion prolific in this nation and the world today are a consequence of the opening this wicked door. Judgement is coming, and it will begin at the house of God. America has become Babylon, the harlot of Revelation. She sits on a scarlet colored beast that will burn her with fire. The Lord is about to rip open the foundations of the deep, and with the earth, destroy the earth. The only “ark” in which we can be saved is Jesus Christ Himself.

  13. A lot of people USE the King James Bible. But they don't believe it is perfect without error. Yet the walking WORD is perfect. Would his written word be less perfect? Psalm138:2 says he magnified his word ABOVE his name. His name is above every name and yet God magnified his word above it! One way he has magnified his word is by printing more copies of the KJV than any other book in history. It is the greatest seller of all time. There are almost as many King James Bibles sold as McDonalds hamburgers!!!

  14. I’ve always loved the language of the KJV even before being born again, when I here the language of thus and nevertheless and begotten and heretofore and thou I think of a gentlemen and GOD is a gentlemen. Thank you LORD for my wonderful King James Version of your WORD.

  15. Don't folks realize that the KJV was authorized by a King to make himself look good and be remembered for centuries now.. No propaganda there.. King James Version…..BTW the last update for Colonial American Colonies was 1789.. not 1611. So, the KJV in America today is the 1789 version. I enjoy many different English Translations. The Geneva, Knox, Darby, Tyndale, Wuest, KJV, NASB, ESV.
On Sunday evenings, as my husband reads from the KJV from the pulpit the current Book from the Bible that we are going through as a church, he puts on the screen his own translation from Greek on that particular Book from the Bible for us all to compare. 🙂 I really enjoy that because sometimes it is better translated than the KJV.
I know also that the folks who choose to be very KJV and accept it only for English folks are very mean to those who accept other proper English translations. Some are obviously bad. I have experienced the hate that comes out of them personally and that is wrong. If the person who is very KJV, they need to show love and respect to those that differ and not be rude, demeaning etc. I respect them in their choice to say that the KJV is the only translation for them, and they need to respect those who accept other excellent English Translations of the original languages!!

  16. which version of the kings james bible…the oxford or the cambridge? and by the way you had better have an old dictionary with you…16th century english is not the same as 21st century english…better interpret what the old english words mean…syntax has changed! Or buy a newer version…based on more than 5700 text variants and yet doctrinely sound…and then read it in the language you are familiar with….21st century english!
