I think Witch Hat is the next cultural “Holy crap I have to watch that” that will bring in folks that’ve never watched anime. Just off the manga Ive read and based off the trailers, its got the type of appeal for all ages that some other mainstays don’t

ah, yes. the return of Re:Zero, the series about nothing because every time the protagonist dies, it becomes a different story. that means you wasted time watching the previous story arc since it has no bearing on the new one. it's just an omnipotent being brutally traumatizing some random kid who means nothing in the grand scheme of things, just because he was bored. there's literally no other reason why he was transported to another world to suffer and die (and for other people to suffer and die). the series is obviously about a bored god picking on a kid who's on the spectrum and gets relocated to another world, but doesn't bother to freak out, mind his business, or find a way back to Earth. i don't get the accolades for this drek.
everything else on this list looks peak.

I am so looking forward to Akane Banashi. I stopped reading the manga because I could tell it was going to get an anime and I didn't want it to be spoiled. I know, weird.
Sorry but the only "assassin" anime I really want is a second season of "The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat."
Oh, and I hope that 12 out of those 60(!!) episodes of Rimuru are another cour of "Slime Diaries."
