I thought it was okay but it felt a very Dei ish and just seemed kinda pointless for a plot. I didn't find to much of an issue with the amount of screen time some dinosaurs had but if I was going to suggest something to them if they try this again in 20 years. It's fine to have mutant dinosaurs in the film as the island was chosen for failed experiments to live on. Just make sure the cast and characters you choose are not so forced due to dei. Give Scarlett Johnson's role in the movie to a male mercenary. I get women want to think they can do everything a man can do but they have never gained independence in any country ever unless men wanted them to have it. Let's not be delusional about the role people play. The whole crew they chose just needed to be scrapped as they were only there cause they were black and that's fine, I have no issue with that if they fall into the roll organically. There needs to more screen time for the Trex scenes and Drex scenes all throughout the movie, maybe show people what it can do, how it lives or whatever.

Yeah apparently the D rex can grow and shrink in size because at one point he can fit a helicopter in his mouth like a turkey leg. The next it can barely munch on this UNREALISTICALLY greedy guy. Not to mention the goofy vehicle he drives what they had hybrid vehicles in the 90s?
Remember Jurassic world? The big human villain was the greasy igen dude. WAY better than whatever this medical CEO or whatever.
Not to mention Rebirth completely revered the whole idea of fallen kingdom with dinosaurs roaming free. Now apparently they are dying off.

wow this movie grinded my gears lol… i kept thinking of the first iteration of jurassic world with the new park and indominous rex and that movie feels 4 hours long! its always lurking and looming and you learned new things about it throughout to be able to finally attempt taking it down (camouflage from cuddlefish, knowing it was being tracked and removing its own tracker, the scene in the observatory hamster balls) everything was so much better paced and even the following movie with the indoraptor you keep getting flashes of it and the buildup of open corruption and the trade and auctions of mutant dinosaurs before it finally backfires, then this movie was dino blood dino blood side character dies dumb boss dino everybody lives and the little girl gets her dolphins and pet dinosaur
